Computers in New Zealand Schools

February 16, 2010

CINZS coverI was in Dunedin last week for the official re-launch of Computers in New Zealand Schools by founding editor Wing Lai Kwok and managing editor Anne Trewern.

After 20 years of successful print-based publication, the journal has moved online and the latest issue is available .  In addition to publishing high quality articles related to e-learning, educational technologies and technology-enhanced education in NZ schools, the editors have plans for various ‘value added’ features including an online repository of resources, discussion of articles and the development of an active user community.

I am pleased to see this format change and predict a positive response from teachers and other readers of the journal.  CINZ remains an important source of information for NZ teachers and an important outlet for both practice- and research-focused articles in e-learning.
